Sales / Office Administrator

The Role 

We are looking for a Sales / Office Administrator to join our sales team. 

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday), with some flexibility in work location. 

This is primarily, but not exclusively, a remote-working role. The appointed candidate will be expected to work from our Kenmare, County Kerry office on occasion, in addition to attending training, meetings and other business activities, as reasonably required. The initial training period will primarily be delivered from the Kenmare office, after which the role will transition to its usual remote-working arrangement. Office space is also available for the person appointed to the role to work from, where home working is not suitable. 

The person appointed will play a key role in managing bookings, handling client enquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Process and manage bookings, ensuring accuracy. 

  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email, ensuring a high standard of customer care. 

  • Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient coordination. 

  • Liaise directly with clients, including industry professionals, to provide assistance, follow up on enquiries, and ensure smooth delivery of service. 

  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery. 

  • Create, develop and maintain sales processes and strategies that support business growth and service delivery. 

  • Carry out additional duties reasonably required by the Sales Manager that are consistent with the nature and level of the role. 

 

Requirements 

  • Previous experience in customer service is preferable. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong focus on delivering a high standard of customer service. 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with the ability to adapt to various software and apps. 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a continuous professional approach to work. 

  • Ability to make outbound calls and build professional relationships with clients and industry professionals. 

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills. 

  • Commitment to handling personal information confidentially and in accordance with company procedures. 

  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland. 

 

Necessary External Requirements 

  • Ability to maintain a reliable internet connection suitable for remote working. 

  • Ability to work in a suitable, professional, and confidential remote working environment. 

  • Ability to attend the Kenmare office when required for training, meetings, or business needs. 

 

Advantageous Skills and Experience 

  • Proficiency and experience in basic computer literacy 

  • Good typing skills and speed. 

  • Familiarity with Dublin City and Greater Dublin geography would be advantageous.
